Doing such thing for the sake of other people not just only show an act of kindness, it is somehow a way of doing something worthwhile with a view of making a difference and a perspective to change the world.
When Microsoft’s Bill Gates, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and other Internet icons unite, achieving something become more easier.
These Internet moguls are among the first elite citizens to take the ALS ice bucket challenge which continues to dominate as a viral craze which is gamely participated by common people and even popular personalities.
Aside from Gates and Zuckerberg, many Internet icons followed the stint including Microsoft’s new CEO Satya Nadella who managed to take the challenge without any hesitation.
Tim Cook, Apple’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Twitter CEO Dick Costolos also took the record-breaking ice bucket challenge. This stint aims to raise funds for the benefit of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association.
Challengers who wish to do the challenge must follow some simple procedures. One must dump a cooler of ice bucket on their head and after doing the challenge, he/she must pass on the stunt by asking someone to do the challenge within 24 hours.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS which is commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder which is associated or similar to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
