26 years old Alex Gonzaga was not around during the announcement of “Praybeyt Benjamin” 2 casting that’s why she did not know that is actually one of the cast.
“Praybeyt Benjamin” 2 is the sequel of the box office film of 2011 which is the “Praybeyt Benjamin.” It is a film made by Phenomenal Box Office Star, Vice Ganda.
It’s sequel will be one of the entries in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
Meanwhile, Gonzaga was told about her casting on the said movie sequel during her contract signing with ABS-CBN on Thursday. It was revealed to her by the Star Cinema Head, Malou Santos.
Reporters and TV Crews told Alex about it and then record her reaction.
When this was revealed to Alex, she was actually surprised. “Talaga po?” Alex said.
After a while, she took an excuse because she will be briefed by Santos on her part of the said movie sequel. Alex stood up for a while then returned for just a couple of seconds.
When she was asked on what’s her reaction on her movie casting, Alex said, “Sasabihin ko na po, hindi niyo na po mababawi!”
It seems that Alex still can’t believe that she is actually part of the cast of the movie sequel. She even emphasized that the news is actually told by Santos herself. That if ever Santos is just joking, she has proof.
On the other hand, it would be her first MMFF casting ever. It would be her first time to work with Bimby Yap and Richard Yap which is also part of the movie. She also shared her excitement on working with Vice Ganda on the movie.
The said film which is Directed by Wenn Deramas had started shooting last week.
