The kapatid actor Vin Abrenica defended his brother actor-heartthrob Aljur Abrenica from bashers after he decided to end his contract from his home network for seven years GMA.

After the surface issued, many people were disappointed of Aljur Abrenica’s move, saying that he shouldn’t filed a complaint against GMA regarding how the company managed his career since he is not a good actor.
In an interview with PEP, the “Artista Academy” grand champion said that he was not bothered by the issue because he knew that his brother is giving his effort every time he is working on a project. However, he admitted that he got hurt by people’s negative reactions since he considers his brother as his “idol”.
“Para sa akin, kung sa trabaho niyang yun, nakikita ko naman ang effort niya.”Sinasabi ng mga tao na hindi raw siya marunong, siyempre masakit sa akin yun. Siya ang idol ko, e,” he said.
Vin Abrenica defended also his brother from the people who were saying that his brother doesn’t owe GMA a debt of gratitude. He said that he knew that the 24-year-old actor is always giving his best since he started in showbiz, adding that he have done his part.
“Yung sa walang utang na loob, para sa akin, meron naman. Para sa akin, I know from the start na nag-artista siya, ibinigay niya yung best shot. I think, ginawa naman niya ang part niya very well,” he said.
Aljur Abrenica, who rose to fame after joining the kapuso talent search “StarStruck”, filed a complaint against GMA network on July to withdraw his contract which is supposed to end in 2017.
