The kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola is happy for her former boyfriend JM de Guzman, who was able to make a showbiz comeback after being away from the spotlight for two years.

In an interview with entertainment site PEP on Wednesday August 6, 2014, the “Maria Mercedes” star said that she is happy for JM de Guzman because she thinks that he deserves to be back in the industry.
“I’m happy for him… And I’m happy na kung anuman yung nangyayari sa kanya ngayon. He deserves to be back in showbiz,” she said.
Asked if she is willing to work with JM de Guzman in a project, Jessy Mendiola replied: “Why not? Magaling siyang actor kaya gusto kong makatrabaho.”
Jessy Mediola and Jm de Guzman have been together for two years. It was only in June 2013 when they admitted their relationship to the public after they broke up.
JM de Guzman’s last regular project was the family drama series “Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto”. After the series concluded in 2012, the 25-year-old actor took a break from showbiz for two years, citing “health problem” as the reason.
However, in his recent interview with “The Buzz”, Jm de Guzman admitted that he used an illegal substance which led him to a rehabilitation facility.
JM de Guzman will star in the upcoming episode of “Ipagalaban Mo!” with Yam Concepcion, Janus del Prado and Ketchup Eusebio this Saturday August 9, 2014.
