According to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Anti-Cyber crime Group, they are now tracing the links of the video. This was to determine if who is the person who uploaded the said video.

Bediones said that the video was taken 5 years ago and was stored in his laptop. The video was taken privately. However, it was brought to a technician for repair.

After several months, according to Bediones, the said technician texted him to give him something as an exchange of the said controversial video. The technician said that he needs an exchange so that he would not upload the said controversial video.

Bediones also said that he was blackmailed then.

However, Bediones just ignored the said text and just act as if nothing had happened. He just ignored it because he believes that this blackmail thing will just end and will not be that serious to anybody.

Lately, this controversial video went viral in the social media and been the number one trending not just in social media but also in the news.

This happened specifically last Sunday, July 27, 2014.

If recognized, the PNP said that the one who uploaded the video will be facing charges on violating the Republic Act 9995 or the Anti-video and Photo Voyeurism Act of 2009.

As of this moment, the said controversial video of the news anchor is still viral in social media. Indeed, it will really take time that people will forget about it.
