Juan Karlos Labajo, the Cebu-based grand finalists of The Voice Kids Philippines turned the crowd wild as he sang Bruno Mars classic single, “Runaway Baby” during the Upbeat Song Round of the top-trending singing competition as it marks its finale on Saturday, July 26, 2014 held at the Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.

The 13-year-old aspiring singer who hailed from the “Queen City of the South” is one of the grand finalists of the Philippine edition of The Voice Kids under Team Bamboo.
“Ang charm mo talaga, nagamit sa round na ito eh. Congratulations,” Lea Salonga said. “Natural mo talaga eh. There’s only one JK,” coach Bamboo Manalac added.
Juan Karlos Labajo is battling out against his fellow grand finalists; Darlene Vibares of Team Lea, Darren Espanto of Team Sarah and Lyca Gairanod of Team Sarah.
Earlier, Juan Karlos Labajo garnered a massive applause from the audience and coaches after he made a soulful rendition of the song “Yesterday.”
The first-ever winner of the Philippine edition of The Voice Kids will be revealed on Sunday, July 27, 2014. The singer who will get dominate on public votes (online and text votes) will be declared as the champion.
The winner of The Voice Kids Philippines will receive whooping P1 million cash, one-year recording contract courtesy of MCA Universal, home appliance showcase, house and lot, musical instrument showcase and P1 million worth of trustfund.
