Suspension of Classes on Tuesday (July 22, 2014) Announced by LGU’s & DepEd

The Department of Education and some Local Government Units in Luzon already declared suspension of classes for Tuesday, July 22, 2014 due to heavy rains affecting some parts of Luzon caused by Bagyong Henry.

Walang Pasok July 22

According to PAGASA Bagyong Henry currently affects the northern Luzon Areas particularly in the Batanes Group of Islands where the typhoon signal No. 2 is now hoisted.

Due to the Bagyong Henry, the southwest monsoon (Habagat) caused heavy rains and flooding in some areas of Metro Manila and nearby provinces. PAGASA already warned some areas of Luzon and Western part of the Visayas regions that could be affected by Habagat rains.

Various provincial heads, took to Twitter and announced suspension of classes for tomorrow, July 22, 2014. Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez and Cavite Governor Junvic Remulla announced suspension of classes through their official Twitter account.
