The Professional Regulation Commission released the official results of the Marine Deck Officers Board Exam Results, on Wedneday, July 9, 2014, or exactly three (3) working days after the last day of examination.
The PRC announced that a total of 50 out of 96 passed the Master Mariner Licensure Examination, 219 out of 411 passed the Chief Mate Licensure Examination and 707 out of 1,256 passed the Officer-In-Charge of a Navigational Watch Licensure Examination.

The Marine Officers Licensure Examination was given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila and Cebu this July 2014. A total of 172 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of (–foul word(s) removed–)sment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).
THe PRC also noted that the guidelines for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and PRC ID are as follows:
- Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Cards will start on August 15, 2014. The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
- The deadline for submission of Certificates of Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork with Practical (–foul word(s) removed–)sment will be on July 22, 2014.
