The kapamilya actress Angel Locsin, who is in a relationship with actor-host Luis Manzano, defended the mother of her boyfriend, the Batangas governor Vilma Santos over wrong spelling and wrong grammar issue.
The issue surfaced last week when the veteran actress sent a box of ensaymadas to Kris Aquino with a dedication card containing a misspelled word and a wrong grammar sentence.

The actress-host took a photo of Vilma Santos’ gift to her and posted it in the image-sharing site Instagram which eventually became the subject of criticisms in social media.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe, the “Legal Wife” praises Vilma Santos’ humility for admitting her mistake saying that no one is perfect and everyone is capable of committing errors . She asked also the people not make a big issue out of it.
“Okay lang naman magkamali, in fairness to tita ni recognize niya. Hindi naman siya ng ano [nagalit], tumawa lang siya. Wag lang siguro palakihin ang issue,” she said.
According to the 29-year-old star, even Luis Manzano laughed on the issue because they did not consider it as a big deal.
Vilma Santos has issued also a statement and said that she considers it as part of the learnings adding that it was natural for everyone. For her, it was a “constructive criticism” to improve her craft.
