Former PBA MVP James Yap revealed during an interview with “Tapatan ni Tunying,” that he got an older child, noting that James “Bimby” Yap Jr., isn’t his only son. The Tapatan ni Tunying interview will be aired on Thursday, July 2, 2014.
According to the 32-year-old James Yap, the superstar basketball star who hails from Escalante, Negros Occidental, talks about his older child with a former girlfriend. The revelation was made by James Yap after a long time of hiding his other child to the media.
The San Mig Coffee Mixers star player, James Yap thanked his ex-girlfriend for keeping his secrets. He was quoted as saying “Actually, gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa ex-girlfriend ko na talagang kung ano man pinagdaanan ko, hindi siya nakisawsaw, hindi sya nakialam o siniraan ako,” James Yap told Anthony Taberna.
Aside from James Yap’s revelation of his other child, the basketball star also discussed that his current relationship with his former family particularly with Kris Aquino and son Bimby Yap greatly improved.
James Yap also revealed during the interview with Anthony Taberna hta he will quit his PBA basketball career after six years and try to focused on coaching and helping kids to learn basketball especially those who are in High School.
When James Yap was asked about his future plans with current girlfriend, Michella Cazzola, the basketball star just noted that marriage will come at the right time. The Tapatan ni Tunying show will air every Thursday at around 4:00 PM on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold.
