Darlene Vibares and Tonton Cabilles are the two remaining aspiring singers of Team Lea in The Voice Kids Philippines after the Sing-Off Rounds of the competition on Sunday, June 29, 2014. Tonton Cabilles and Tonton Cabilles were chosen to advance in the highly anticipated Live Shows of The Voice Kids Philippines.
During the Battle Round on Saturday, Darlene Vibares was chosen to proceed to the “Sing-Off” round of The Voice Kids Philippines after her powerful rendition of the song “Firework,” against fellow aspiring singers, Mariane Interino and Karla Cruz.
The 9-year-old Darlene Vibares showed her singing prowess once more when she rendered the song “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going,” the song she was chosen herself from the popular Broadway musical “Dreamgirls.”
Aside from Darlene Vibares, the other aspiring kid singer who won during the Sing-Off Rounds was Tonton Cabilles, Jr., after he performed the famous hit “It Will Rain,” the song popularized by Bruno Mars during the Sing-Off rounds. The 11-year-old Tonton Cabilles will represent Team Lea in the Live Shows of The Voice Kids Philippines.
Aside from Darlene Vibares and Tonton Cabilles, competing during the Sing-Off Rounds were Eufritz Santos (Who Are You), Angel Aguilear (I Believe I Can Fly), Jimlord Garcia (Unchained Melody), and Shanne Dandan (On My Own).
