Teen heartthrob Daniel Padilla is set to hold a free concert for the victims and survivors of super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in the worst-hit Tacloban City, Leyte.
Karla Estrada, the mother of the 19-year-old actor told ABS-CBNnews.com that they decided to come up with a free concert in the typhoon ravaged area to bring happiness to the victims.
Tacloban City is one of the worst-hit area in the Central Visayas which was devastated by the super typhoon Yolanda last November 2013.
According to Daniel Padilla, this will be the first time that he will be visiting Tacloban since typhoon Yolanda devastated the region. He even noted that he give way for this event despite having a hectic schedule.
The upcoming concert of Daniel Padilla will be held at the Leyte Sports Development Center in Tacloban City this coming Saturday, June 28, 2014 with the special participation of his leading lady and rumored girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo.
The country’s hottest young stars are currently gearing up for their upcoming movie, “She’s Dating the Gangster” which came to prominence as leading online novel last year.
Daniel Padilla will portray the role of Kenji delos Reyes, a member of gang who came across with a pretend relationship to Athena Dizon (Kathryn Bernardo). The romantic-action movie is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
“She’s Dating the Gangster” marks as the third big screen appearance of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla or popularly known for their tandem dubbed as KathNiel.
