Philippine Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., is now expecting the issuance of the arrest warrant after the Sandiganbayan orders his arrest for the plunder charges against him in connection to the pork barrel scam.
The Sandiganbayan already issued the hold departure order against him noting that he will face the case and will not ran away from all the issue. The 47-year-old Bong Revilla also added the he is confident of a fair trial from the Sandiganbayan.
According to Senator Revilla for the past few days he has been doing rounds in barangay to thanks his supporters which is contrary to the claims of the national government that 99% of the people right now do not believe in him.
Senator Bong Revilla went to the his office in the Senate on Tuesday despite the fact the legislative branch of government is currently on recess, he also noted that he is ready to go to jail anytime.
The Senator also noted that his place of detention is now up to his legal team, although PNP already announced that the pork barrel scam suspects which involved Senators will be detained at the PNP Custodial Center.
The former action star and incumbent Senator, revealed to the media that he has packed his belongings, which have been placed in his vehicle so that he would be ready once arrested. Sen. Revilla noted that he is bringing a Bible an some books to read in jail.
