The highly-anticipated finale of the top-rating series “The Legal Wife” featuring Angel Locsin, Maja Salvadro and Jericho Rosales dominated the ratings game and demolished its rival shows by posting its highest-ever rating throughout its airing period.
The finale episode of “The Legal Wife,” which was dubbed as “The End of An Affair,” made a significant ratings garnering 36.2%, according to the latest survey results reported Kantar Media.
Based upon the previous ratings of The Legal Wife, the finale ratings number is more than quadruple the viewership of its rival shows aired on GMA-7 titled “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real,” which only got a total of 8.8% on the same day.
The finale episode of The Legal Wife significantly improved according to Kantar Media after its four-month long of airing on nationwide TV. During the pilot episode of the show, on January 27, 2014, the series garnered 21% in national TV ratings. During the April ratings, the series averaged 23.5% in national ratings, last May’s average ratings raised to 26%.
The Legal Wife finale episode also set a new records on viewership for a program that airs at 9:15 PM, with the new records shattered the all time record during that particular time slot.
