Veteran actress-turned-politician Vilma Santos praises the girlfriend of her son actress Angel Locsin and other casts of the top-rating series “The Legal Wife” for their performances.

In the testimony of the country’s Star For All Seasons aired during the commercial gap of the series on Monday, the mother of Luis Manzano congratulated the casts and the whole production for making a very good and memorable show.
“Sa lahat ng cast — Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador, Jericho Rosales — sa bumubuo ng staff at directors, congratulations. Isa ito sa naging memorable na teleserye. Hindi maku-kwestiyon ang ratings which means marami ang nagkakagusto. Matatapos kayo on top,”
Aside from its very high ratings, the Batangas Governor said that she likes the message of the series which teaches the viewers a lot of lessons in life.
The 60-year-old star said that Monica (Angel Locsin) in the series have done her part as a wife and she did the right thing to end their relationship because it would make their lives better rather than to be miserable with each other.
Vilma Santos also hopes that the viewers will learn from the message of the show especially on valuing the family and the sacrament of marriage. She added that though there is no perfect relationship, people should really do their best to protect their families.
“Basta ako. let’s just do our best na ito ay protektahan natin dahil ito ang ating pamilya, ito ang ating buhay. Always put God at the center of your relationship,” she stressed.
“The Legal Wife” airs every weeknights as part of Primetime Bida line up. The soap is now down to its last four episodes and will end on Firday June 13, 2014.
