President Obama’s Surprise Walk on Park Video Went Viral

One of the world’s most popular leader and the President of the United States of America, President Barrack Obama surprised his constituents, tourists, and passersby as he took a walk outside the White House on his way to the nearby Department of Interior in Washington, D.C. last week.

The US President was on his way to dedicate a new National Monument in Washington D.C., according to the accounts posted by the official White House blog, the President then decided to forego his motorcade and go on foot, instead.

Those who have seen the US President were shocked and surprised with the humbled gesture of one of the world’s most popular leader. President Obama was seen on the video posted by the official YouTube account of the White House, conversing with some people and handshaking a few individuals who were lucky enough to get closer to President Obama.

The US President was able to say Hello to a jogger, a couple, and a food stand owner. Aside from them, there are other people in the park who easily recognized him and approached the President and chatted with him along the way to the President’s destination.

President Obama also called out to a group of friends, by stating “Hey!, What’s going on guys? he said. One of the group replied with Freedom, Peace! Hope! Charity!” he said. One of the “America! Freedom! Peace! Hope! Charity!” one of them yelled in reply, before running over to introduce himself.

In the video a woman also asked the President to have her photo taken and even stated, “Oh my gosh! It’s like the best day of my life! …Someone’s gonna think you’re, like, wax.” She even got a hug from the humble US President.

Since the viral video was posted on May 22, 2014, the video already garnered more than 3.8 million views and counting.
