The Filipino people was ranked as the 6th most positive people in the world according to the latest study conducted by Gallup poll. Pinoys were considered as one of the most positive people on Earth despite the bad news that occurred in the country.
According to the latest Gallup, the Philippines ranked 6th in the Positive Experience Scores Worldwide for 2013. The country tied with Southeast Asian neighbors, Indonesia and Thailand.
The Gallup poll measured the positive emotions all over the world by asking adults if they experienced “lots of enjoyment, laughing or smiling a lot, feeling well-rested, and being treated with respect.”
The international poll was conducted in a total of 138 countries worldwide during the year 2013. Gallup noted that 7 out of 10 adults experienced positive emotions while a slight majority (51%) report that they learned or did something interesting the day before.
The survey also noted that the Philippines previously ranked at 92nd out of 156 countries in the United Nation’s 2013 World Happiness Report.
The most positive country in the world recognition was given to Paraguay for the third straight times, followed by Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Ecuador. Meanwhile the lowest ranked country in the Gallup poll is Syria.
