The breakup scene of phenomenal ABS-CBN romantic-drama series “The Legal Wife” dominated online as the May 12, 2014 episode landed as trending topic on Twitter in the Philippines and worldwide.
Based upon the latest episode of the top-rating Kapamilya series, Monica (Angel Locsin) decided to end her romance with husband Adrian (Jericho Rosales) over their amid struggle to patch things up following realization of an affair with her best friend Nicole (Maja Salvador).
Adrian did not agree on their separation but Nicole is determined that their breakup will give them a chance mending their relationship in the long run. Meanwhile, Nicole is left in shock after she found out that she’s pregnant with Adrian’s child.
The Legal Wife once again dominated as trending topic on the micro-blogging site with “Monica to Adrian” which became a worldwide trend. The top-rating series has become consistent in terms of viewership.

According to Kantar Media, a market research group, The Legal Wife starring Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales ranked 6th as the overall most watched TV program in the Philippines with an average rating of 23.5% based on the April 2014 survey.
Last month, the highly anticipated Kapamilya series ruled on Twitter featuring the breakdown scene of Monica (Angel Locsin) over the realization of an affair between her husband and her best friend.
The Legal Wife which continues to bring-forth sizzling revelations weeknights is directed by Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao.
The Legal Wife which premiered last January 27, 2014 also stars with Christopher de Leon, Rio Locsin and JC de Vera.
