Many showbiz personalities mourned following the death of Sherryl Ann Reyes, the wife of actor-dancer Wowie de Guzman who passed away last Saturday, April 26, 2014.

The 26-year-old Pampanga-based businesswoman died, one month after she gave birth to her first child with Universal Motion Dancers (UMD) member. Sherry Ann Reyes gave birth to their first daughter, Alex Rafael.

Based on the report, the “probable cause of her death was triggered by medicine which she took after suffering from muscle pain. Side effects were then manifested and she suffered from seizure and erratic blood pressure.”

The medical staff of the nearby hospital where she was rushed tried to revive Sherryl Ann Reyes for three hours but she has already succumbed.

According to the previous interview of Wowie de Guzman, he met his late wife Sherryl Ann Reyes as he run a food business along with Christopher Roxas, the husband of her co-love-team, Gladys Reyes.

The short-lived romance between Wowie de Guzman and Sherryl Ann Reyes blossomed into a romantic relationship and civil wedding in 2012 and finally they both decided to tie the knot inside a church of their choice.

37-year-old Wowie de Guzman or Jeffrey Camangyan in real life came to prominence in 1990s after he was introduced as one of the members of popular dancing group, UMD along with Jim and James Salas, Marco McKinley, Gerry Oliva, Brian Furlow, Gerard Faisan and Norman Santos.

  1. too sad, you never know when your life would end, hope they had atleast enjoyed the short time they had been together, im wondering what medicine did she take, i know this is going to be a pressing matter to the pharmaceutical that distributed the said medicine
