Vhong Navarro Airs Statement on Cedric Lee’s Arrest (Video)

Actor-host Vhong Navarro has aired a statement regarding the arrest of businessman Cedric Lee and Simeon “Zimmer” Raz Jr., co-accused in his mauling last January 22, 2014.

Vhong Navarro also thanked everyone who played a part in the arrest of his mauling suspects and has expressed his gratitude during the April 26, 2014 episode of “It’s Showtime” to the Department of Justice, DOJ Secretary Leila de Lima, Philippine National Police (PNP) and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

“Sa lahat ng mga nagbantay sa Eastern Samar, maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat,” Vhong Navarro said.

According to Justice Secretary Leila de Lima, Cedric Lee, along with another suspect, Simeon “Zimmer” Raz Jr., was arrested by the NBI on Saturday morning, April 26, 2014 in Dolores, Samar.

The 40-year-old controversial businessman and his fellow fugitive were arrested for grave coercion and serious illegal detention cases filed by “Da Possessed” actor Vhong Navarro in connection with the mauling incident last January 22, 2014.

Cedric Lee and Simeon Raz will be transfer to the main office of NBI in Manila. The authorities are still in hot pursuit against model Deniece Cornejo and other suspects involved.

A report earlier surfaced that one of the suspects has testify against the “Oplan Bugbog” planned by Cedric Lee. The rumored “state-witness,” whose named is withheld, is reportedly now under the custody of Department Of Justice’ Witness Protection Program.

The authorities have yet to identify the exact location of the remaining fugitives since investigation is currently on going.
