Pinoy Eugene Toquero to Fight in ONE FC: Rise of Heroes on May 2

Following the defeats suffered by Filipino campaigners in the last ONE FC staging, Eugene Toquero will try to redeem the Filipino fighters in the next edition of the MMA tournament that will happen right in our territory at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 2.

The ONE FC: Rise of Heroes, which will be bannered by the bantamweight match between Bibiano Fernades and Masakatsu Ueda, marks the return of the Asia’s largest MMA organization in the country.

The ONE FC: Rise of Heroes, which will be bannered by the bantamweight match between Bibiano Fernades and Masakatsu Ueda, marks the return of the Asia’s largest MMA organization in the country.

Toquero, one of the fighters already casted in the explosive 10-fight event will face Malaysian Gianni Subba.

The 32-year old mixed martial artist, who holds a 4-1 win-loss record, is coming off a unanimous decision loss to fellow Filipino GejeEustaquio in ONE FC: Moment of Truth last December.

Subba on the other hand is undefeated in his last three (–foul word(s) removed–)ignments.

CEO Victor Cui said more Filipinos will take part in the “Rise of Heroes” other than Toquero and they will be named in the next few weeks.
