TV5 to Air One More Live Game of Commissioner’s Cup Every Monday and Saturday

TV5 added two more games that it will be airing live starting on March 17 as the PBA got new schedule for Commissioner’s Cup.

Sports5 bared about the development in a statement saying that the station will be airing one live game on PBA’s Monday games that most likely be the second game.

Aside from this, TV5 will also flexing its programing as it will now be airing both matches of the Saturday’s offering of the league instead of just the usual one.

“TV5 and the PBA will continue to give diehard fans and viewers good basketball action,” said Sports5 head Chot Reyes. (Statement from Spin.ph)

The change of schedule came following the success of the station’s coverage of the last Philippine Cup evident to the record-breaking TV ratings of the semifinals Game 7 between Ginebra and San Mig and the finale game of San Mig and Rain or Shine.

All PBA matches are also being shown live in the TV5’s sister channel in the UHF band AksyonTV 41.
