Unlike other politicians gearing up towards particular positions, 44-year-old Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero set himself on settling down with his current girlfriend Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista before the year 2016.
Regarding to this, as ANC’s “Headstart” get a chance to interview Chiz Escudero on Monday March 10, 2014, Escudero admitted that before 2016 comes, he wants to get married with 29-year-old Heart Evangelista, as he said “Mas may pinaghahandaan ako bago mag 2016 kesa yung 2016. ‘Yun muna. I would want to [get married]. Again, kung si Allan (Cayetano) may ‘I want to become a president,’ this is what I want before 2016.”
Though Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero have been together for years which started last 2012, the lawmaker revealed that he has yet formally propose with his girlfriend.
On the other hand, Chiz Escudero further revealed in an interview, that they already talked about on settling down, however he emphasized that there’s no formal proposal implemented yet, thus, he want it to goes along with a step by step process before his current girlfriend would say “Yes” to him.
Meanwhile. Chiz Escudero stressed that the foundation of family really matters to him, and this is the reason why he wants to get married again despite of his status, saying “It’s not odd. At the end of the day, family is important. Family should be higher than any political ambition because your stint in politics will end at some point in time in your life. Titigil at titigil ‘yun. Pero ‘yung pamilya, it’s always going to be there.”
