Jan. 2014 LET Exam Results Top Performing & Performance of Schools

The Professional Regulation Commission released the official results of the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) for both the Secondary and Elementary Level. The Top Performing and Performance of Schools are listed below.

The PRC announces that 11,120 elementary teachers out of 38,377 examinees (28.98%) and 12,033 secondary teachers out of 42,358 examinees (28.41%) successfully p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.).

According to the PRC, No School with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% p(–foul word(s) removed–)ing percentage for the LET Elementary Level. In the Secondary Level there are two schools who made it to the Top Performing Schools.

The Saint Louis University ranked No. 1 as the Top Performing Schools in the LET Secondary with 121 p(–foul word(s) removed–)ers out of 129 takers for 93.8%. Saint Louis University is followed by University of Sto. Tomas at No. 2 with a total of 50 p(–foul word(s) removed–)ers out of 56 examinees for 89.29%.

LET Elementary and Secondary Performance of Schools 

The LET Examination was conducted last January 26, 2014 in 15 testing centers all over the Philippines by the Board of Professional Teachers composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro as Chairman with members Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy.

The PRC noted that the results of the examination with respect to five (5) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing the LET exam. PRC added further that the LET results of examinees from Catarman and Baybay, Leyte were withheld pending final review of the authenticity of their submitted documents.

The PRC announced the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration in NCR will start on April 7, 2014, while the dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said exam will be announced later.
