“He wants the challenge of the Bradley-Pacquiao winner, he wants to make history of a fifth world title in five divisions.”
Beltran, who co-promotes the counter-punching artist with Bob Arum’s Top Rank, added that a victory by Pacquiao against Timothy Bradley on April 12 will boost the possibility highly-anticipated fifth bout of the two rivals.
“If Pacquiao wins he’ll have the belt, and Juan wants it,” Beltran said referring to the WBO welterweight title of the American boxer that’s at stake in his rematch with the Filipino pound-for-pound king.
But for the meantime, the promoter out of Zanfer Promotions is currently in the works on a possible May 17 fight of Marquez against Mike Alvarado.
The Mexican fighter earlier has been reluctant to face Pacquiao again after his sixth-round knockout demolition of the eight-division world champion on December 2012.
Pacquiao in the 7th. KO. $100. Any takers?
