“Starting Over Again” featuring Piolo Pascual, Iza Calzado and Toni Gonzaga continues to dominate in box office ratings with P360 million box-office earning after 18 days nationwide screening leading its way to breach P400 million mark.
Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga announced on Sunday, March 2, 2014 on ABS-CBN’s top-rating variety show, “ASAP” the earning of Starting Over Again which already reached P360 million as of May 1, 2014.
“Nakakatuwa kasi lahat sila lumaklak ng reyalidad at natanggap nila ang pelikula namin.” Toni Gonzaga said when asked by host Luis Manzano after starring on another blockbuster movie.
On the other hand, Piolo Pascual thanked all the moviegoers who already watched the film. The 37-year-old actor also expressed his gratitude for the cast and crew of Starting Over Again who contributed much on its success.
Starting Over Again tackles the story of a budding romance between teacher-turned-chef Marco (Piolo Pascual) and his girlfriend Ginny (Toni Gonzaga) who left him without leaving any reason.
Years have p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed, the two will meet again, but this time Marco has found new love with Patty (Iza Calzado). Ginny then started to regret for leaving the man he loved and making possible ways to rekindle their relationship.
Starting Over Again which has earned P360 million after 18 days was released last February 12, 2014 as part of Star Cinema’s 20th anniversary celebration.
Starting Over Again is considered as one of the highest-grossing Filipino film which is expected to break box-office records.
