The latest Star Cinema movie titled “Starting Over Again” earned more than P25 million on its opening day breaking the record set by “Bride for Rent” for the year 2014.

The movie Starting Over Again featuring Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga debuted strongly on box office after numerous movie houses across the country had sold-out screenings during the first day of showing.
The first day earnings of the Piolo and Toni movie was confirmed by Star Cinema AdProm Manager Mico del Rosario on his official Instagram account with the following caption: “Maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong suporta at tulong! Starting Over Again made a whopping and record-breaking P25Million on its first day! To God Be The Glory!” he stated.
The P25 million earning of Starting Over Again eclipsed the previous record set by the KimXi movie “Bride for Rent” which earned P20 million during its opening day a few weeks ago.
The latest Star Cinema movie features the love story of Ginny (Toni Gonzaga) and Marco (Piolo Pascual). The two lovers met on campus where Ginny was an Architecture student while Marcos is a professor.
Ginny got a crush on Marco and pursued her professor. Eventually Marco also fell for Ginny and they began a one-of-a-kind love story, but unfortunately, their relationship ended when Ginny left with no apparent reason. When Ginny return he found herself wanting to rekindle her past with Marco.
The movie Starting Over Again is directed by Olivia M. Lamazan and produced by Star Cinema, it is currently showing in more than 100 cinemas nationwide.
