The Philippines top-rating reality show featuring some of the country’s overweight individuals, The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles is now down to just eight finalist after one of the team was voted off the during the show’s competitive weigh-in aired on Wednesday, February 26, 2014.
The “Magkasintahan” tandem of Valerie and Biggie was voted out of the competition after they got the lowest combined weight loss of 10 lbs or a weight loss percentage of 2.56%.
During the second competitive weigh-in on Wednesday the pair of “Showbiz Royalties” was declared as the biggest loser, featuring the daughter of Yayo Aguila and William Martinez named Pat. She is accompanied by Cathy a member of the popular Revilla clan, they haven’t met each other before but join the competition as one of this year’s “stranger pairs.”
The Showbiz Royalties gained the recognition as the second week’s Biggest Loser Doubles after having a combined weight loss of 18 lbs or weight-loss percentage of 4.5%.
The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles started airing last February 3, 2014 with 14 overweight Pinoys facing tough challenges that promise to change their lives forever. The show is hosted by actress Iza Calzado.
