Biggest deal was the transfer of Danny Granger from Indiana to Philadelphia in exchange for wingman Evan Turner and hard-working Lavoy Allen.

Turner will provide a scoring threat and will be good back up to Paul George while Allen just shore up the already formidable frontline of the Pacers, who are shaping to be the Miami Heat’s tough contender for the title this year.

Granger meanwhile might have a career rejuvenation playing with the rebuilding 76ers after he became dispensable for Indiana following George’s emergence.

Another significant move yesterday is the transfer of Philadelphia’s Spencer Hawes to Cleveland for forward Earl Clark and Henry Sims and two second-round draft picks.

Hawes, who is averaging career highs, 13 points and 8.5 rebounds, and shoots 40 percent from 3-point range will be a big addition for the Cavaliers especially that they are on course of clinching a playoff spot.

Busy in the trade cut off the 76ers also agreed to a three-team deal, which saw Denver point guard Andrei Miller shipped to Washington fin exchange for Wizards forward Jan Vesely. Philadlphia received guard Eric Maynor and couple of draft picks in this trade.

Worth mentioning is the move of Charlotte Bobcats, acquiring Luke Ridnour and Gary Neal from Milwaukee for Ramon Sessions and forward Jeff Adrien.

LA Clippers and Atlanta also swapped players as the Clips sent veteran forward Antawn Jamison in exchange for the rights to shooting guard Cenk Akyol, a 2005 second-round pick, who is currently playing in Turkey.

Other minimal deals approved prior the deadline are the move of Roger Mason from to Sacramento, the transfer of Jason Terry Reggie Evans to kings in exchange for  Nets pick up Marcus Thornton and the trade of Marshoon Brooks and Bazemore Kent to LA Lakers for point guard Steve Blake, who already suited up for Golden State.
