Gil Peña whose wife works in a call center installed a videoke system with lapel, microphone, music player and a small monitor in his car to entertain his p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers and to prevent him from getting tired on his job as a taxi driver as well.
On Friday morning, February 14, 2014, Valentines Day, one of the p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers got curious about the videoke system. An unidentified foreigner on board the cab asked for the installed device. Right after his “nosebleed” explanation, the foreign p(–foul word(s) removed–)enger started to sang on their way to the airport.
Aside from the foreigner who lauded to sang Beatles’ hits, another memorable story inside the taxi is a recent birthday celebration held right inside the cab.
Gil Peña, a former wedding singer, was also featured on TV5 wherein the taxi driver is believe to become a YouTube sensation. He shared that his business has grown due to the p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers often pay him more than what is stated on the meter.
