After Vhong Navarro’s released from St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City, the actor proceeded to the Department of Justice in Manila to file supplemental affidavit to the criminal charges against Deniece, Cornejo, Cedric Lee, and five other individuals.
The 37-year-old Vhong Navarro swore under oath that he made truthful statements on his complaint affidavit against the accused whom he claimed had beaten him black and blue last January 22, 2013 at the condo unit of Deniece Cornejo.
Aside from ABS-CBN, various national networks and press people were present during the release and Vhong Navarro’s arrival at the Department of Justice. Only ABS-CBN and their sister channel Studio 23 and News Channel ANC featured a live coverage of Vhong Navarro’s release which is now considered by netizens as a certified blockbuster.

Vhong Navarro was confined at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon for two weeks, Navarro thanked his supporters for the continued support on him despite the trials that he is facing right.
Aside from Vhong Navarro’s discharge from the hospital that become a national breaking news headline, in a related development, the Taguig City Police filed an obstruction of justice case against United Megaforce Security Service, the security agency of Forbeswood Heights condominium.
