The announcement of the long list of players that will be part of the USA basketball program for the next three summers on Thursday (Friday PH time) had revealed that ten talented frontcourt men will be on the pool.

Though, they are just relatively small due to non-participation of the likes of Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh in the past, only having forwards LeBron James (6’8), Carmelo Anthony (6’8) and Kevin Durant (6’11) to patrol the lanes, USA quintet looks like will add some more inches in team.

Comprised in the pool are young emerging guys in Blake Griffin (6’10), Anthony Davis (6’10), De Marcus Cousins (6’10), LaMarcus Aldridge (6’11), Andre Drummond (6’9) and Kenneth Faried (6’8).

Also in the list are last Olympic squad’s only natural fronliners Kevin Love and Tyson Chandler, joining them is come backing Dwight Howard and veteran newcomer David Lee.

All these big men still need to battle for a slot with the brilliant guards and wings named in the list like Paul George and Kyrie Irving to be included in the 12-man roster come World Championship and Olympics in 2016.

However, had NBA stars James, Anthony, and Chris Paul won’t suit up on August, more slots are available for these solid front court guys to make it in the final cut for World Cup.
