“That stuff’s ridiculous. It really is. First, I was being traded. I could care less about that stuff. I’ve said it before: I love this team, I love the guys that we have and I love the fighting spirit of this team, so that’s all I’m thinking about.” Thibodeau said after Saturday night’s 103-97 win over Bobcats (statement from csnchicago.com).

Thibodeau has an existing contract with the Bulls through 2016-2017 season.

There have been reports that Thibodeau is unhappy with the team and the Bulls are slow to offer him a contract extension.

Chicago is currently below .500 at 19-20 record but won the seven of their last 10 games.
