The official eight entries of the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) continues to break box office records and rake in more cash to the producers, with a record earning of P597 million total in 7 days or one week of showing as confirmed by MMDA.
According to the official statement made by MMDA, the organizer of the MMFF, the gross earnings of this year’s festival are 34.5% higher compared to the previous year’s event.
MMDA Chairperson Francis Tolentino confirmed the figures through a text message sent to ABS-CBN News. After 7 days of showing, the movie “My Little Bossings” remains as the top grosser.
The second highest grossing movie in the 2013 MMFF is the “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy” featuring Vice Ganda and Maricel Soriano as the lead characters. The two movies are followed by the horror film “Pagpag: Siyam Na Buhay,” and the comedy film “Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel.”
The other entries which are not included in the Top Four Movies are the following in no particular order:

- Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill (The Arturo Porcuna Story)
- Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir
- Kaleidoscope World
