Justin Bieber Claimed He is Retiring After “Journals” Album

International teen singing sensation Justin Bieber claimed that he is retiring from the music industry after his new album “Journals” which is set to release next week. The retirement of Justin Bieber was first posted by British website DailyMail.

The 19-year-old Justin Bieber made the announcement during a radio interview by Power 106 radio station in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday. He was quoted as saying “After the new album, I’m actually retiring man. I’m retiring.” he said.

During the interview with Justin Bieber, radio host Kurt Alexander who is also known as Big Boy, reacted with the announcement as he exclaimed and surprised. There is also an audible gasp that could be heard from the radio program’s cast of characters.

The “Baby” singer, seemed to be sure at first but following the reactions, he backtracked slightly suggesting he has not quite made up his mind. He stated “I want to grow as an artist and I’m taking a step out, I want my music to mature.’ he said.

The Canadian superstar Justin Bieber ended the interview with the following pronouncement “I’m here solely for my fans and for the music.” he said. 

In a separate news posted by international showbiz website TMZ the 19-year-old singer confirmed that he was just joking and has no plans to permanently hang up his microphone.
