The Filipino people will celebrate a total of Four Official National Holidays in the month of December for year 2013. Based upon the President Aquino’s Proclamation No. 459, s. 2012. Holidays in December includes 24, 25, 30 & 31.
The December 24, 2013 Special Non-Working Holidays is the first holiday for December, followed by the Christmas Day on December 25, 2013 as a National Regular Holiday.
December 30, 2013 is also a National Regular Holiday as the Philippines will celebrate the death anniversary of the national hero of the country, Dr. Jose Rizal.
Aside from the December 30, holiday, a special non-working holiday will be celebrated in December 31, 2013 as part of the celebration for the Last Day of the Year.
In the Year 2013, by virtue of Proclamation No. 459, there are Ten Regular Holidays, Seven Special Non-Working Days, and One Special Holiday for all schools.
