The Philippine Team in the 27th Southeast Asian Games held in Myanmar currently ranked at the seventh spot in overall medal tally standing as of December 15, 2013. Philippines has a total of 10 Golds, 13 Silver, and 21 Bronze in different categories, the team is currently ranked behind Singapore at Number 6 spot.

Host country Myanmar falls to second place in overall medal tally as Thailand dominated the Saturday and Sunday event. Thailand has a total of 43 Golds, 37 Silvers, and 39 Bronze medals. Myanmar has 37-31-33 in Gold-Silver-Bronze haul respectively.
Saturday night’s Number 1 ranked team Indonesia falls to the third place after Sunday’s result as they garnered a total of 31-47-43 (Gold-Silver-Bronze) medals in the Myanmar SEA Games 2013.
The Philippines additional Gold medals was courtesy of the Philippine boxing team, Light-Flyweight Josie Gabuco defended his Gold-medal during the last SEA Games.
Olympian Mark Anthony Barriga also secured a Gold medal for the Philippines as he dominated Konelis Langu of Indonesia, 30-27, 30-27, 30-27, in the final round of the men’s light-flyweight final round. Bantamweight Mario Fernandez also scored a gold medal for the Philippines.
