Comedienne-actress Janet Duterte better known in her stage name as Keanna Reeves introduced her 20-year-old boyfriend Kevin Mercado.
In an interview with Korina Sanchez for “Rated K,” former Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Winner Keanna Reeves was asked the difference of their relationship, compared to Filipino folk singer Freddie Aguilar, who recently stormed with controversy having a relationship with a 16-year-old girlfriend which is now married in Islamic Rites.
In regard with this, Keanna Reeves playfully answered “I checked his ID first.”
“Siguro ang kaibahan namin ni Mr. Freddie Aguilar, ako po, naghahanap po ako ng ID,” she said, laughing. “Siguraduhin ko po na 18 above na po siya, kasi baka makulong ako!”
As a couple, Keanna Reeves and Kevin Mercado already stayed on their eight months being in a relationship.
Keanna Reeves also admitted that she hides her age with Kevin Mercado for such a long time, meanwhile according to Wikipedia Reeves is 46 years of age, and the reason why she kept it, because she don’t want that her age would be the aspect of their relationship.
When Sanchez asked Kevin Mercado if he sometimes received negative comments for his ties with Keanna Reeves he said in his statement, “Masasakit din po ‘yung mga sinasabi, pero wala po akong pakialam sa kanila. Kasi wala naman po sila sa sitwasyon ko,” he said. “Meron pa naman natitira [na mga kaibigan].”
Sanchez also asked Kevin Mercado if his relationship will last for a lifetime with Keanna Reeves, as a response he said, “Yes, mahal na mahal ko po siya.”
