The Top 16 semi-finalist of the Miss Earth 2013 was already announced by show’s host Oli Pettigrew and Linda Black during the coronation night of the pageant held at the Versailles Palace in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines.
Before the start of the highly-anticipated beauty pageant the Philippines thanks the international donors who helped the Philippines on its relief efforts after the devastation brought about by super typhoon Haiyan in the Visayas. The acknowledgement was made through former Miss Earth title-holder Karla Henry.
