A picture posted by a netizen JM Descalzo went viral on Facebook featuring an elderly woman and a “good samaritan” jeepney driver, who according to the uploader of the photo touched him while he was on his way to his school.
Descalzo took the photo of the elderly woman and narrated the situation through a Facebook post. The photo and the accompanying description captured the attentions of netizens as it was shared thousands of times on Facebook.

Overheard while I was on my way to school just today…
Lola: Bayad ho
Jeepney driver: Señior citizen ho kayo?
Lola: oho.
Jeepney driver: May kasama ho kayo?
Lola: wala ho
Jeepney driver: *returning back the money to the old lady* Wag na ho kayo magbayad
Lola: Ha? Bakit?
Jeepney driver: *smiling* Kung wala po kayong kasama kahit ilan pa kayong señior citizen dito sa jeep ko basta hindi kayo magkakilala, nililibre ko. Ang sarap kaya tumulong. Para pag tanda ko, meron din tutulong sa akin!He was such a good samaritan, that’s the reason why I felt the need to share this to everyone. May he be blessed all his life. As of posting time, the photo have already garnered more than 19K shares, 82K Likes and 214 comments on Descalzo’s Facebook Page alone. Aside from Descalso’s page the photo was also uploaded and shared on various Facebook Page managed by Filipinos.
