Last October 15, 2013, Amy Falier, her 5-year-old daughter and 6-month-old child were trapped inside the elevator for four hours between 16th and 17th floors of Victoria de Manila on Taft Avenue.
After the occurrence of that incident which startled many, occupants of the condominium are still complaining about the defective elevator of the condominium.
During the entire four hours of being trapped inside the elevator, Falier, exclaimed that they’re having hard time breathing.
“It’s either the maintenance or the security pinatayan kami ng ilaw, saka yung hangin. Sumigaw na nga kami, ‘walang ilaw, walang hangin.’ Mayroon kasing tubig doon ang anak ko so I used my water and at the same time my towel yun inilagay ko sa anak ko,” Falier said.
Sunday, December 1, 2013, another incident reported wherein two residents were trapped in the same elevator for 45 minutes and tenants added that the condominium’s elevator is prone to malfunction, leaving some occupants trapped in danger.
