The Philippines most brilliant and remarkable lawmaker, Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago made a post on Facebook on her upcoming privilege speech this coming Wednesday, December 4, 2013 as she will respond to the personal attack to her by fellow Senator Juan Ponce-Enrile.

According to the 68-year-old Miriam Santiago ordered her staff already to get the copy of the Senate Journal which is expected to print in full the speech of the former Senate President Juan Ponce-Enrile.

Senator Santiago posted her message on her official Facebook Page yesterday. The status message went viral immediately after it was shared thousands of times in Facebook. As of posting time, the post garnered a total of 8K Shares and 78K Likes. The senator has a total of more than 989K followers on Facebook.
Here’s Senator Mirriam Defensor-Santiago’s Respond to Enrile:
I will respond to the personal attacks against me made during a privilege speech yesterday by Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile. I was ill with chronic fatigue syndrome, and was unable to access my enemy’s privilege speech.
I have ordered my staff to get a copy of the Senate Journal which is expected to print in full the Enrile speech, so that I can reply. I have also asked Majority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano to schedule my privilege speech on Wednesday, 4 December 2013.
I invite all of you to attend the Senate plenary session on that date. Seating is on a first come, first served basis, so please come early. Otherwise, please tune in to live streams of my speech next Wednesday.
