Vice Ganda Scored Six Points on PBA Stars Charity Game for Yolanda

Phenomenal comedian Vice Ganda proved his basketball skills during a charity basketball game organized by celebrities and PBA players to raise funds for the survivors of super typhoon Yolanda on Monday night.

Vice Ganda was able to score six points of his team’s first 11 points before he leave the basketball game for some shooting schedules. The 37-year-old comedian is best known as an active volleyball player in the past, so some of the basketball stars were surprised with the way he performed on basketball court.

The crowds attending the charity game were really entertained at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City after they have seen the basketball skills of Vice Ganda.

Even PBA legend Alvin “The Captain” Patrimonio was really impressed with Vice Ganda’s performance. Alvin was quoted as saying, Nagulat nga ako eh. Akala ko volleyball ang laro, pero magaling pala siya and athletic,” Alvin Patrimonio told InterAKTV in an exclusive interview.

Vice Gand provide some comic relief during the charity basketball event, as he hugged teammates and opponents – sometimes a little too long – after good plays.

According to one of the organizers of the event, LA Tenorio, he stated that Vice Ganda insisted to be part of the lineup despite a busy schedule.
