Melai Cantiveros and her soon to be husband Jason Francisco break silence in regard with the controversy on their wedding next month and the cast of ABS-CBN gag show “Banana Split.”
Recently it was reported that Angelica Panganiban and other “Banana Split” cast may not be invited in the said wedding that will happen on December 9.
To cleared out the issue, Cantiveros said in an interview on Sunday with the “Buzz ng Bayan” about releasing of invitation cards and added the whole cast of “Banana Split” is really invited to their wedding.
Cantiveros also revealed that Francisco personally delivered the invitations for the cast of the show to the co-host Ryan Bang, who will be the best man at the wedding as well as Paul Jake Castillo.
Cantiveros has been part of the gag show “Banana Split” since 2011, and she’s wondering about the cause of the controversy, yet Cantiveros said she did get hurt by recent remarks made by her co-host.
This controversy started when the regular cast of “Banana Split” Pooh allegedly questioned Francisco’s capacity to support his future wife and their forthcoming child.
In regard with that, Cantiveros said, “actually, sa totoo lang may kaunti akong tampo sa kanila. Kasi parang nagtatampo ako na in-uunderestimate nila si Jason. Siyempre, pag nagmamahalaan, bahala na ang saging, basta loving.”
