Kapamilya comedian and host Vice Ganda have already predicted that his upcoming movie, an official entry to the yearly Metro Manila Film Festival this coming December 25, 2013 will become another box office when it opens in Cinemas nationwide.
The prediction made by the 37-year-old Vice Ganda was reported by ABS-CBN during an interview with the host-actor. Vice Ganda also revealed that he is so excited to work his showbiz idol, the award-winning actress Maricel Soriano.
The movie of Vice Ganda titled “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy” is his proudest movie ever because he will play four different characters. The actor was quoted as saying that, “Yung bihisan pa lang and prosthetics, maliban pa sa acting, sobrang hirap na. Ang daming effort na kailangang i-exert. Kahit ito ‘yung pinakamahirap na ginawa ko, isa ito sa pinaka-fulfilling,” he said.
Vice Ganda also revealed during the interview with ABS-CBN News that his upcoming movie is even funnier compared to “Sisterakas,” the current holder of the title as the highest grossing Filipino films of all time.
The co-host of the top-rating show, “It’s Showtime” is confident enough that his movie will be blockbuster this year and it could be greatest gift he could receive this Christmas. He claimed the success of his latest movie by stating, “Masaya kaming buong pamilya this Christmas. Maganda ko ring sasalubungin ang Pasko at New Year dahil blockbuster itong movie ko, kine-claim ko na na blockbuster ito dahil alam kong susuportahan niyo ako dahil gusto niyong tumawang lahat,” he said.
Vice Ganda also confirmed to the media that his mother will also return to the Philippines this Christmas to support his movie.
