The Philippine representative to the Miss World Beauty Pageant, Megan Young is one of the finalist in the “Beauty with a Purpose” Special Award. In preparation for the said event, the Kapamilya actress was seen in a YouTube video helping flood victims in Hagonoy, Bulacan.

The “Beauty With A Purpose,” challenge awards features selected Miss World contestant who is shown to have made a big difference in her homeland through charitable work. Various entries of the finalist have been uploaded by Miss World organizers to their official YouTube Channel.
Megan Young’s entry to the Miss World “Beauty With A Purpose” features the 23-year-old actress showing how she cared for the flood victims in Bulacan. She was accompanied by Miss Cory Quirino, licensee of Miss World Philippines.
Aside from Megan’s recent achievement as one of the finalist in the “Beauty With A Purpose,” the Philippines’ bet Megan Young was also chosen as one of the few contestants who will perform a dance from their respective countries at the Miss World Coronation Night to be held this coming September 28, 2013.
The TV host and actress was also named as one of the 11 finalists in the Miss World Beach Fashion Competition.
