The Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters will face Meralco tonight, Friday, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum featuring with more firepower as their star players and Gilas Pilipinas mainstay Jayson Castro, Ranidel De Ocampo and Larry Fonacier will be back in action.
The Tropang Texters vs. Meralco battle will start at around 5:15 PM while the second game at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum featuring Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and Barako Bull will start at around 7:30 PM.
The return of the Gilas Pilipinas cagers to the Tropang Texters squad will come as a huge relief to Talk ‘N Text which suffered a lopsided loss last Sunday against the San Mig Coffee Mixers. The Tropang Texters will clash with a determined Meralco squad who scored a back-to-back losses to Barako Bull and Ginebra.
Meanwhile, in the second game tonight, The Gin Kings are hoping to halt the Barako Bull’s two-game winning streak. Ginebra will rely on its own Gilas star player LA Tenorio, who exploded with a career-high 34 points last Saturday against Meralco.
