UST Tigers Defeated Adamson Falcons 80-67 (UAAP Results Aug. 28)

The UST Growling Tigers defeated Adamson Falcons during the Wednesday UAAP games at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum with the final score at 80-67 ending their three-game losing streak. With the UST’s win the team is currently having a 5-5 win-loss card.

UST’s Karim Abdul and Ed Daquioag led his team with 19 and 17 points respectively added by Aljon Mariano who scored 10 points in the fourth quarter of his 16 points total contribution.

The Adamson Falcons suffered their sixth straight loss in the UAAP Season 76 currently having a 3-8 win-loss record in the competition. Although the Falcons tried their best during the fourth quarter with just 3 points behind at 58-55, with 7 minutes remaining but they could not catch up with the determined UST Tigers.

The Tigers outscored the Falcons 10-2 over the last minute and a half of the game through the effort of Mariano and Abdul. Abdul contributed with 12 rebounds and 4 blocks.

The Adamson Falcons was led by Rodney Brondial who scored with 15 points, while Cruz added with 13 points.
