LA Tenorio Scored 34 Points Led Ginebra’s Victory Over Meralco

Former Jones Cup MVP and Gilas Pilipinas mainstay, LA Tenorio scored an impressive 34 points as he led his team, the Ginebra San Miguel into a sweet victory over the Meralco Bolts on Saturday, August 24 with the final score at 98-85.

LA Tenorio scored a total of 5 three pointers and broke his previous career-high 33 points by scoring 34 points this time against the Meralco Bolts at the PBA Governors Cup and giving the Gin Kings their first win in the season-ending conference of the PBA.

The 29-year’s old offensive gave the Gin Kings it’s much-needed win after their earlier defeat against Petron. The Gin Kings hulking import managed to finish with a double-double effort scoring with 17 points and 15 rebounds. while Mark Caguioa added with 15 points.

The Meralco Bolts import Mario West topscored with 21 points while John Wilson added with 17 points.
