The San Mig Coffee Mixers will face Air21 tonight at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City, with both teams hoping to rebound from their opening day lossess. The depending champion Rain or Shine will also try to take the lead against fellow undefeated GlobalPort in the main event.
The PBA Governors Cup game will start at around 3:45 PM with the Elasto Painters going up against the Batang Pier while in the second game the Mixers will face the Express at around 6:00 PM in the evening.
The San Mig Coffee-Air 21 duel will be aired live over IBC-13. The Rain or Shine-GlobalPort match will air via satellite at 8 p.m. over Aksyon TV. In the main game the GlobalPort will depend its early lead as they opened the conference with a 101-94 victory over San Mig Coffee.
The San Mig Coffee on the other hand will try to rebound with the leadership of their import Marqus Blakely who failed to lead his team to victory despite producing 26 points and 20 rebounds during his first game. The Coffee Mixers failed to got the much-needed score from James Yap, the team will also feature its newest addition, Allein Maliksi.
